Like you, I am a pet owner also.  I have a yellow lab named Winston.  One of my favorite books is about a nutty yellow lab called Marley and Me,  by John Grogan.  As a puppy, my lab Winston was a handful with a ton of bad habits and behavior.  I can not count how many times I heard "just wait till he is two, he will get better".  It was a very long two years. I remember reading in the book something very powerful, that it changed the way I thought of Winston.  In the book, the author said, "Part of our journey as his owners was to mold him and his indomitable canine spirit.  We had brought into our home a living, breathing being, not a fashion accessory to prop in the corner.  For better or for worse, he was our dog.  He was a part of our family, and, for all his flaws, he had returned our affection one hundredfold."  How true that was and is. Winston is a great dog and I can not imagine our life without him. My second dog is named Sabel.  She is a Chinese Pug and the first small dog I have ever owned.  She is a rescue from a puppy mill and has the sweetest nature you can ever expect from a dog.  Her countless snoring never fails to make me smile. My third pet is a tabby cat that we also rescued.  My oldest daughter named her Ally cat. We like to say she is our "cool" pet. Like many cats she is very independent, loves to chase lizards and an occasional snake on our back porch.  She is very sweet and  a wonderful addition to our family. Finally, the newest member to my family is a 5 month old pug named Snuggles.  She was in need of a home with kids and other pugs and since I met all the criteria it was meant to be.  She is a great puppy and has adapted well to my very crazy and fun household. So as you can see I love animals and you can trust that I will treat your animals with love and care and special attention as I would my own. Along with my four pets I have two beautiful daughters who are the apple of my eye. (Do keep in mind my daughters do not come with me on my pet sitting jobs.  Although I am sure they would like to, I feel that it is not very professional so you can be assured and confident that I am taking my job as your pet sitter very seriously.)  Needless to say there is never a dull moment at our house and I would not want it any other way. :)
